This workout is as important as any other workout we've ever done if not more important! How? For one, it's a vital component of fitness to test and develop to make us better human beings and increase our overall fitness. This should excite you as much as a 1RM Snatch or doing your first pull ups. Secondly, because it's boring, simple and painful, and is something you would not have done (correctly) if you had to do it on your own. It's not "just running". Showing up for this workout is more than a physical task. It's a sign of mental toughness and resilience and carries over to any situation you face outside the box that might be "boring, simple or painful" - doing something you don't want to, but you know you should do. It builds character. So don't skip it because it's "just a run". Show up and smash it!
